Supervisors Hand Cut Off

Chelsea, Mich., Feb. 1. - George Runciman. supervisor of Lyndon township, met with a bad accident yesterday afternoon. In doing some corn husking, his hand got caught in the machine and it was so badly mangled that an amputation was necessary just above the wrist.

As soon as the accident happened messengers were dispatched for doctors and three responded.
