Some time ago Mrs. Jobson, after, making inquiries, together with Judge Harriman, about the Patrick Jobson estate, was informed that the estate, which consisted of land in Australia, was worthless. says the Dexter Leader 

It was Mrs. Jobson's firm belief that this was a fabrication. She went to work on a rather shaky foundation, finding out that it was as good or better than before. She was compelled to be her own counsellor in all.

The result of this investigation is that Mrs. Johnson is next heir as the widow of J. H. Jobson, deceased. The administrator has kindly asked Mrs. Jobson to allow him to act as her attorney and sell her shares in the estate, as it is now to be settled as the law allows. The legal papers have been sent to Mrs. Jobson, and signed and returned.
