Over 10,000 Will Be Spent On Fair
The fair managers are extremely enthusiastic this year and are planning great things for the county fair this fail. They are after the Hagenbeck shows and will have a Streets of Cairo, Turkish villages and all the other features of a regular Babel.
They will spend five or six times as much money on horse races, hanging up $3,000 in purses, and will increase the premiums for the regular exhibits to $4,000, which more than doubles any premiums hitherto put up.
They will spend $2,500 on the grounds and are anxious that information concerning the enlarged plans for a fair should have wide dissemination, which accounts for this repetition of our yesterday's item in other words.
