Chelsea, Mich., April 19. -- The annual meeting of the Jackson association of Congregational churches will be held in this place next Tuesday and Wednesday, April 22 and 23. Specially interesting programs have been arranged.

In St. Mary's church, of this place, there will begin on Sunday next the Forty Hours Adoration service. Rev. Father Brown, a Redemptorist from Detroit, will preach the sermons. On Monday and Tuesday masses will be celebrated at 6 and 8:30 a.m. Services in the evening at 7:30 o'clock. The closing exercises will take place Tuesday evening with solemn procession of benediction. Very Rev. Dean Werner, of Detroit, and Rev. William Kilroy, of Lenox, will assist.

Henry W. Gorton, secretary and treasurer of the Chelsea Telephone Co., returned from Detroit yesterday with a $600 automobile, which he will use in the repairing for said company.

Wednesday evening, April 16, in Manchester, occurred the marriage of Hiram Lighthall and Abbie Chase.
