Mr. Hangsterfer Passes Away
William Hangsterfer, a former well known Ann Arborite died at his home in Detroit Friday night at 11 o'clock from the effects of a paralytic stroke which received last Wednesday evening.
About sixteen years ago Mr. Hangsterfer removed to Detroit, where he engaged the catering business, which he carried on until three years ago, when he entered the insurance business. Mr. Hangsterfer would have been 53 years old Sunday. Besides a widow and seven children he is survived by five sisters and one brother--F. V. Hangsterfer, Miss Lizzie Hangsterfer, Mrs. L. T. Limpert, Mrs. Ross Granger, all of this city, and Mesdames J. C. Stevens and Willlam Lenyck, of Detroit.
The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence, 33 Lincoln avenue. Interment in Elmwood cemetery.
