Barn Was Burned Down

About 10 o'clock yesterday the fire department was called out by a fire which completely destroyed Undertaker Enoch Dieterle's barn, which is located on the east side of the alley between Main street and Fourth avenue.

Only one vehicle was in the barn at the time the fire broke out. This was taken out safely. Just a few moments before the fire was discovered Mr. Dieterle had taken out his hearse and was on his way to the cemetery.

It is not known how the fire originated. Mr. Dieterle thinks that sparks from bonfires In the alley, of which there were several this morning, may have caused the fire.
