IN AND ABOUT MILAN

Milan, May 21. -- Miss Florence Galpin of the Adrian college spent last Sunday with Rev. and Mrs. H. A. Field, returning to her school work early Monday morning.

Mr. Tribblecock is quite ill at his home on Huron street.

The invitations are out for the alumni banquet June 13.

Died May 18, of consumption, Miss Kezah Inman, aged 70 years. Deceased had lived for several years in rooms of Mrs. Wm. Stimpson's house on East Main street. The funeral services were held at the house last Tuesday, Rev. H. A. Field officiating.

Several Milanites heard Sousa's band at Detroit Sunday. Among the list were mr. H. Teeter and Miss L. Steedle, Mr. and Mrs. F. Gauntlett, Mr. Clarence Steedle and Oscar Kanouse.

Mr. and Mrs. T. T. Lacy and family left for the home in Toledo last Sunday, after a pleasant visit with Mr. and Mrs. James Gauntlett of East Main street.

Attorney G. R. Williams is on the sick list.

Mrs. Lingle has returned from her Detroit visit.

Miss Emma Dreece attended the May Festival at Ann Arbor last week.

Mr. Ernest Huff, from the northwestern part of the state, is the guest of his sister, Mrs. C. Schmitt, for a few weeks.

Miss Lilly Steidle is learning the millinery trade of Miss Millie Hitchcock.
