IN AND ABOUT PITTSFIELD JUNCTION

Pittsfield Junction, June 4.- Mr. Day lost a valuable horse Monday.

Children's Day will be observed at the Roberts Sunday school next Sunday afternoon, June 8.

Mrs. Clare Campbell is reported as being on the sick list.

Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Lowry are the proud possessors of a son, born May 27.

Miss Walker closes school in the Roberts district this week with a picnic.

Among the successful eighth graders at the last county examination we notice the names of Margaret Steere, Anna Klager, Clara Klager and Walter Darling of this vicinity.

Seth Sumner visited friends in Monroe county Sunday.

Bean buyers were around here recently offering to contract for fall betas at $1.35. A large acreage will be planted.

Aaron Summer closes school in the Town Hall district this week.

Wm. Straight had a colt seriously cut by getting into a barb wire fence Tuesday.

George Read is shipping the balance of his last year's big crop of potatoes this week.
