NURSES GIVEN THEIR DIPLOMAS

The graduation exercises of the senior class of the Training School for Nurses were held at the University hospital Wednesday evening.  The exercises took place in the amphitheatre and a large number of guests were present to witness the presentation of the diplomas to the class of young women.

Dr. Vaughan gave a short address, giving the nurses a wealth of good practical advice.  His address was of great interest to those interested in the medical profession.

At the conclusion of the address, Pres. Angell, with a few words of praise for the class who were about to enter into a noble work,  presented them with their diplomas.

After the distribution of the diplomas the company adjourned to the nurses' home,  where a reception was tendered the graduating class.
