LADIES HELP THE Y.M.C.A.
The Ladies' Auxiliary of the Y.M.C.A. have lately given a series of chocolatieres which have proved to be very pleasant social functions. One of the most successful of the series was given Wednesday at the home of Mrs. W. Stevens, on N. Ingalls street. The spacious rooms were perfect bowers of maiden-hair ferns and marguerites.
The guest were received in the hall by Mesdame Stevens, Richards, Seyler, Dibble, Stoffet, Gilmore, Vandawarker, Krapf and Clarke. Mrs. Millen presided at the table in the dining room, assisted by a number of young ladies and served frozen chocolate and cake.
The auxiliary has proven a most able assist to the Y.M.C.A. and no small sum has raised by the ladies in various ways and turned into the association treasury.
