Celebrated Golden Wedding

CELEBRATED GOLDEN WEDDING

Mr. and Mrs. Fred P. Hunt, of this city, celebrated their golden wedding Wednesday evening, June 4, a large number of friends and relatives being present.

The husband is 72 years of age and the wife 70, and they have been residents of Ypsilanti since 1869. Both came from New England.

Letters of congratulation were received from the couple who "stood up" with them at the wedding, and who are the only survivors of the guests. The supper was served from china and silver that has been in the Hunt family for nearly a century.

Of the three children, Fred A. Hunt and Miss Lillian Hunt, both of Detroit, were present, C. J. Hunt, of St. Paul, Minn., being detained at home.
