Whitmore Lake, June 18. - A very pretty wedding occurred today at the residence of the bride's parents, Mr. And Mrs. Bernard Bauer, of Northfield, the interested parties being Mr. August Ennis, of Ridgeville, Ind., and Miss Elizabeth Bauer, second eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Bauer. The wedding occurred at 5p.m., the Rev. William Fischer, pastor of Northfield German Lutheran church officiating. The bridesmaids were the Misses Rose Bauer, sister of the bride, and Annie Ennis, sister of the groom. The groomsman was Mr. Albert Bauer, brother of the bride. The bride was handsomely attired in white mull and was fascinating. Miss Kate Ennis played the Arlington wedding march. About 70 of their relative were present and participated in a sumptuous supper after the ceremony. The happy bride was born and brought up in Northfield and has a host of friends, all of whom wish her and her lucky husband a very pleasant and long matrimonial voyage. The happy pair will leave on the 7p.m. Michigan Central for a honeymoon trip to the east, and in three weeks will be at home in Ridgeville, Ind., where they will be pleased to meet their friends.

Mrs. Fred Prochnow, of Northfield, was in Ann Arbor today for the purpose of buying a handsome carriage, but failed to find anything in the city to suit her and has sent to Chicago for a catalogue to select from.

On Monday at the Lake House the senior class of 1902 banquet was a grand affair. The committee, composed of A. B. Innis, Miss Leila R. Edgar, Boyd Marshall, Miss Lillian Cousins and Wm. S. Vail displayed their judgement in having every detail looked after and a grand time was enjoyed by all. Landlord Stevens prepared the following menu:

Cream Chicken in cases, Boiled Ham, Roast Turkey, Ox Tongue, Saratoga Chips, Buttered Rolls, Lettuce Sandwiches, Lemonade.

SALADS: Shrimp, Lobster. Olives, Cheese, Crackers, Salted Peanuts, Strawberries with cream, Ice Cream assorted, Cakes, Fruits, Bananas, Oranges, Coffee.

Mrs. Frank W. Barker went to Ann Arbor today to attend the funeral of Miss Carrie B. Norton, an old schoolmate.

Mr. G. W. Kinne, of Caro, father to our night operator, is paying him a visit and is very much taken up with Whitmore Lake and its surroundings and will remain for a couple of weeks.
