Badly Bitten By A Pet Dog
BADLY BITTEN BY A PET DOG
Mrs. Jacob A. Gwinner was severely bitten by a pet bulldog, owned by a neighbor, Thursday of last week, at her nome on Beakes street.
Mrs. Gwinner was in her back yard at the time of the accident. The dog, which bas always been a pet, has a very strong dislike for cats. The animal went into Mrs. Gwinner's yard, where Mrs. Gwinner's cat was romping about. The dog became infuriated on seeing the cat. In attempting to pick up the cat, Mrs. Gwinner's left hand was bitten on the back in four or flve places by the dog, whose teeth, however, did not touch the bone.
Dr. Wessinger was promptly summoned and dressed the -wounds, which are very painful.
No serious symptoms have as yet developed.
