Alexander McDonald, an alleged pickpocket, was brought to the city yesterday by Deputy Sheric Colin Luxton, of Milan, and locked up in the county jail. He is accused of picking the pocket of Mrs. Catherine Krout, of Milan, during the Knights of Pythias celebration at that village on Aug. 5. It is said that McDonald got $2.50 from Mrs. Krout's pocket and that he was seen by several bystanders in the act of taking it. Deputy Sheriff Luxton says that McDonald is only one of a number of the light fingered gentry that operated in Milan during the Pythian celebration but that the others managed to skip the village before they were caught.

Manager Moore of Wonderland and temple theatre, Detroit, has selected a vaudeville show for next week which is quite likely to please the most fastidious theatregoer. It is made up of acts which occupy conspicuous positions in their respective branches of the profession. Among them are: Hal Davis and Inez Macauley, who will present their splendid one-act play entitled "On a Christmas Eve;" Hal Stevens, in artistic impersonations; Wenona and Russell, world's champion rifle and pistol shots; Dorsch and Russell and Ford and Cantwell.
