Maier-Conklin Married Tuesday

MAIER-CONKLIN MARRIED TUESDAY

Miss Ida Maier, of 418 N. State street, and Hugh Conklin, of Owosso, were quietly married at the home of the bride Tuesday. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Carl Hauks, of the Congregational church of Chelsea. Mr. and Mrs. Conklin left on the late train for Owosso. They were met at Durand by a number of young people from Owosso, who made life merry for them during the remainder of the trip.

Both the bride and groom are graduates of the Ypsilanti Normal and have been teaching. Mr. Conklin is a noted athlete, having played on the Normal base ball and foot ball teams. He is now a district agent of the New York Life Insurance co.
