Admiral Casey Meets Salazar
Panama, Oct. 2. - Rear Admiral Silas Casey, who arrived here Tuesday on the United States battleship Wisconsin, accompanied by Commanders McLean and Mason, two other naval officers, and Consul Eherman, visited General Salazar, governor of Panama, at the palace. The visitors were received by a Colombian guard of honor. When they entered the palace a band played "The Star Spangled Banner," and as they left the building the Colombian hymn was rendered. The conference between General Salazar and the American visitors was most cordial. Admiral Casey goes to Colon today. General Salazar intends to visit he American marines stationed here.
