Victoria, B. C, Nov. 6. - The steamer Shinano Maru brought news that anti-foreign placards are scattered all over Chengtu and that the boxer disturbances are now rife throughout the province of Szechuan. The boxers continue to raid out-of-the-way villages and several churches have been burned and converts massacred. A New Chwang correspondent tells of a flght between Russians and bandits. Tbe Russian river patrol boat Samson was attacked by a band of 700 armed robbers on Oct. 5 and fighting lasted for several hours. Over twenty Chinese and six Russians were killed.
