The receipts of the Ann Arbor postoffice tor the year 1902 were $47,784 46. The receipts for 1901 were $43,066.11 showing a gain of $4,718.35 in the year or approximately 10 per cent.
As the last year has shown the heaviest receipts of any year in the history of the office, so the last quarter has been the largest in the history of the office reaching the large total of $14,179.14 or at the rate of $56,000 year. By quarters in 1902 the receipts have been:
