John Fuchs, bent with 76 years of this life, was found dead in his bed at 132 E. HilI Street, Monday. When Constable Peter Hines, who has delivered milk to the old gentleman for several years, entered the house Monday morning he did not find Mr. Fuchs up, so he went to his room to investigate. There found him partially disrobed and half lying across the bed, with his head thrown back. He had evidently commenced to retire for the night when death's grasp closed his eyes forever. Mr. Fuchs had been seen late Sunday afternoon and was apparently as well as usual. For twenty years he has lived alone in the house, a widower.  Up to a few years ago he followed the vocation of farming, but of late has been unable to get very far beyond his door. The remains were removed by Coroner Watts, who was summoned, to F. H. Muehlig's undertaking establishment and Dr. Clark was called to make an explanation. He pronounced the cause of death to be apoplexy.
