Salem, Feb. 4.- The Salem Farmers' club met with Mrs. Mary Hamilton last Wednesday. A good crowd and an interestlng program helped everyone to have a good time. Mr. George Munn and wife, a former resident of Salem, are renewing old acquaintances in Salem. He is now a resident of New York. The Gleaners' surprise at N. A. Brokaw's last week was well attended besides beiug a genuine surprise. Miss Dale De Garwo, of Highland, Mlch., is the guest of Miss Eruina I.iine. The people of the Salem Congregational churcli utv( Charles Rider and wife a surprise last Thursday, it being his birthday. They left them a present is a token of their esteem. Mr. and Mi-s.
