THE DEATH OF MRS. EFFINGER

Mrs. Lucretia Knowles Effinger died at the residence of her son, Prof. John Effinger, of the University, at 745 E. University avenue, at 3:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon. She was born in 1833. She came here from Chicago last summer to live with her son. She had been a great invalid for a long time. The funeral services were held at the house Tuesday afternoon and the body was taken to Chicago.
