Was Responsible for Another Sofa Fire

This Time at the Home of E.J. Helber, Editor of Washtenaw Post

A cigarette or a match and a sofa or lounge seem to have an affinity in Ann Arbor.  Numerous fires of this description have been chronicled in Ann Arbor. Monday night furnished another to add to the list.  It occurred at the home of E.J. Helber, editor of the Washtenaw Post, in the room of some students, at 10:30 o'clock.  The fire department was prompt in responding. The sofa was pitched out-doors and the fire extinguished after it had done some damage to the room and burned up some of the students' belongings.
