STRUCK BY CAR NEAR CHELSEA
The D., Y., A.A. & J. car at Sylvan, four miles from Chelsea, struck a young Waterloo farmer named Fred Heydlauff at about 7 p.m. Wednesday. He worked for Mr. Kalmbach, who lives at Sylvan, and had signaled the card to stop. He did not get off the track and as the car slipped he was struck. He was cut about the head. He was picked up and taken to Chelsea. His injury did not prove as serious as was first supposed and he has returned home.
