ROMANCE OF THE JUNIOR HOP

ONE WEDDING HAS ALREADY RESULTED

Although the Young Couple were Engaged Before -- Married Yesterday

The Argus Monday contained a notice of the marriage of John C. Bradfield, a senior medic, and Miss Blanche Elliott, of Logansport, Ind. It did not then mention that it was a Junior Hop wedding.

John Charles Edgar Bradfield, a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity, comes from Logansport, Ind. At his home was Miss Mary Blanche Elliott with whom he had been long acquainted and to whom he was engaged. The parental consent on both sides was obtained, but it was not considered that the couple would be wedded until after Mr. Bradfield had been graduated and had settled down in his chosen profession as a physician.

However, cupid is often impatient. Mr. Bradfield invited his betrothed to come to Ann Arbor and be his guest at the annual junior hop. The agreement was made between them to wait no longer and at high noon they were married by Rev. Henry Tatlock, rector of the Episcopal church, in the presence of Charles Bowman Worden and , Miss Jessie Louise Strong. The happy couple left Monday for a very brief wedding trip and will return when Mr. Bradfield will continue his studies which will result in his graduation next June.
