Teachers And School Officers

Owing to the rain and the bad state of the roads, the meeting of the Teachers, School Officers and Patrons' association at Ann Arbor last Saturday was not largely attended. Although there were about 7O teachers and a few officers and patrons present. Notwithstanding the light attendance it was an enthusiastic meeting. The program was carried out in full and the discussions brought out many good thoughts for all present. John K. Campbell, of Augusta township was chosen president and Prof. C. A. Graves of Dexter, secretary. They will be assisted by Supt. Slauson, of Ann Arbor High School, Pres. Jones, of the State Normal, and the county commissioner in arranging a series of meetings for the next year, one of which will be in conjunction with the county farmers' institute, if possible. They are looking forward to some of the best educational meetings ever held in the county.
