Downs Bacon and Judson in Chelsea. Some Democratic Gains. The Democrats Have Nine Majority in the Board of Supervisors. Senator Glazier won out over the combined forces of Judson and Bacon in the township of Sylvan. It was a tremendous fight. The highest vote ever cast in the township before was 698. Monday the vote jumped to 769. Bacon has been able to win out over Glazier and Judson together before. Monday all the assistance possible for Judson to render was given Bacon and Glazier elected his brother-in-law on the democratic ticket by 20. The vote on supervisor was Wm. Bacon 365, Frank H. Sweetland 385. The majorities on the rest of the ticket were as follows: Clerk, Bert B. TurnBull, D., 21; justice, Geo. K. Chapman, R., 40; treasurer, Jacob Hummel, R., 175; school inspector, George Gage R., 39; highway commissioner, James Geddes, sr., D., 101; board of review, Stephen L. Gage, R., 92; republican constables. Ann Arbor Town. Ann Arbor town elected the straight democratic ticket by the following majorities: Supervisor, Walter Bilbie, 9; clerk, C. F. Staebler, 31; treasurer, Frank Hagen, 10; board of review, Henry Feldkamp, 11; highway commissioner, Charles Wiedemann, 15; justices, Andrew Smith, 3, Fred Haas, 12; school inspector, John Jetter, 12. Augusta. The republicans elected their entire ticket except treasurer and highway commissioner. The majorities were as follows: Supervisor, John Lawson, 117; clerk, George S. Osborn, 38; treasurer, Walter R. Mason, D., 46; justice, Whitman L. Torrey, 54; highway commissioner, John Dawson, D., 56; school inspector, Richard F. Walter, 5; board of review, Jesse Hewens, 51. Bridgewater. There was only the democratic ticket in the field, which was elected as follows: Supervisor, George Walter; clerk, Wm. Every; treasurer, Wm. Tirb; board of review, C. J. Saley; Justices, Theodore Raab, Solomon Tate; highway commissioner, Albert Westphal; school inspector, Willis Flynn. Dexter. Democratic from 12 to 49. The fight was on highway commissioner, where the majority was 12. The other majorities were from 42 to 49. The officers-elect are: Supervisor, Michael McGuire; clerk; Gilbert Madin; treasurer, Mike Paul; school inspector, Bert Taylor, highway commissioner, L. C. Bodman; board of review, Frank Nixon; justices, Henry Clark, Edward Dolan. Freedom. The democratic ticket was elected by from 38 to 53 majorities. Frank Dettling had 98 votes for supervisor to 60 for Barney Bertke. The other township officers elect are: Clerk, Edwin Kuhl; treasurere, Charles H. Koebbe; school inspector, Robert Kraft; commissioner of highways, John Grau; justices, Jacob Knapp, Lewis Koebbe; member board of review, Michael P. Alber. Lima. The democrats carried everything except clerk, for which they made no nomination, and one justice. The majorities were: Supervisor, Fred C. Haist, 48; clerk, Otto D. Luick; treasurer, Fred H. Trinkley; school inspector, Albert Koch, 8; highway commissioner, John Lucht, 13; justices, Edward A. Nordman, 2, George C. Page, R., 3; board of review, Daniel Wacker, 8. Lodi. There were only 72 voters present and only one ticket. Supervisor, Michael Grosshaus; clerk, Jacob Berkle; treasurer, Fred Clough. Lyndon. Lyndon elected Edward Gorman, republican, supervisor. Manchester. The democrats elected a supervisor, Henry Landwehr receiving 285 votes to 218 for William Burtless. The rest of the ticket was republican. Albert Lewis had 73 majority for clerk and Fred Houck 68 for treasurer. Northfield. There was only one ticket, democratic, in the field and Frank Taylor was elected supervisor. Fred Zeeb beat out Jacob Zeeb by a vote of 82 to 70. Pittsfield. The republican ticket carried the town. Alfred Hutzel had 57 votes to 42 for William W. Miller for supervisor. The other majorities were: Clerk, James H. Webb, 28; treasurer, Robert Campbell, 7; school inspector, Cone E. Sperry, 20, Frank H. Tichnor, 18. Saline. John Lutz, D., was re-elected supervisor by the big majority of 94, the vote standing 245 for Lutz to 151 for Matt Seeger. William Rhodes, D., was elected treasurer by 19. George Lutz, R., had 52 majority for clerk. Charles Howe, D., for justice of the peace, had 34. Wilber Cornish, R., highway commissioner, 96. Collins, R., school inspector, 8; John Gordon, D., member board of review. Carven was the only democrat elected constable. Hooker carried the town by 42 and Foster by 36. Salem. Only one ticket, republican, headed by John Munn for supervisor and F. Roberts for clerk. Scio. The democrats elected the entire ticket, John W. Barley for clerk and John Costello for treasurer having no opposition. The majorities were: Supervisor, Jacob Jedele 16; highway commissioner, Charles P. Knight 49; board of review, M. S. Cook 26; Fred C. Fiegel 42; justice, Harvey Allmendinger 59; school inspector, A. T. Hughes 30. Sharon. The republicans swept the town; elected M. F. Raymond for supervisor by 110 majority. The other majorities were: Clerk, J. W. Dresselhouse, 79; treasurer, George Greske, 36; school inspector, George Raymond, 27; highway commissioner, William W. Dorr, 28; justice, R. K. Fellows, 8; board of review, John Mochn, 41. Superior. All democratic except commissioner of highways. Robert Shankland was elected supervisor by 59, receiving 132 votes to 73 for Herbert W. Crippen. The other majorities were: Clerk, Frederick Marsh, 15; treasurer, Woodie Murray, no opposition; school inspector, Justin Gale, 53; commissioner of highways, John Braun, R., 32; justice, John H. Cowan, 52; board of review, Charles Switzer, 59. Webster. The republicans had the only ticket which received 81 votes. Frank Wheeler is supervisor, Frank Preston clerk and Will R. Scadin treasurer. York. Edward P. Warner had 103 majority for supervisor. The rest of the ticket was close, the majorities being: Clerk, George F. Richards, 6; treasurer, Arthur J. Delaforce, 9; school inspector, Reuben W. Miller, 5; highway commissioner, Theodore B. Feldkamp, 6; board of review, Edgar Guy, 10; justices, Sherman Cook, 6; William W. Kelsey, 12. Ypsilanti Town. As usual, the republicans swept the town, by the following majorities: Supervisor, Edgar D. Holmes 33; clerk, John M. Graves, 38; treasurer, Herbert K. Burrell 36; justice, D. V. Harris 36; highway commissioner, 31; school inspector, 40; member board of review, George D. Wiard, no opposition. Board of Supervisors. Ann Arbor City - First Ward - John R. Miner, R.
