MAKING GRAIN DECKS

In Ann Arbor for McCormack Harvesting Co.

H. P. FINLEY'S PATENT

Revolving Grain Deck Which Prevents Clogging at the Upper Edge of Deck on Harvesting Machines

The Ann Arbor Machine works are building a number of H. P. Finley's revolving grain decks for the McCormick Harvester Co., of Chicago. The work is done here because it was thought best to have it done under Mr. Finley's personal supervision. The only one built last year proved a success, doing its work perfectly under most adverse conditions. Besides the U. S. patent, Mr. Finley holds patents in Canada and five countries in Europe. As it overcomes a defect (clogging at the upper edge of the grain deck) common to all binders and as it can readily be built onto any other machine, it would appear that Mr. Finley owns patents of great value.
