THE FUNERAL OF MRS. ABBOTT

The funeral of Mrs. Marie Amanda Abbott, wife of Willis J. Abbott, was held at the residence of her mother, Mrs. Christian Mack, Wednesday, July 15, at 3 p. m. Mrs. Abbott was married in 1887, her husband being a graduate of the University in the class of 1884. Her first home was in Kansas City, Mo., removing thence to Chicago and New York as Mr. Abbott's profession of journalism compelled the changes. For the last five years she has made her home in Ann Arbor, a prolonged illness making longer residence on the seaboard impossible. She leaves one son, Waldo Mack, aged fourteen years.
