THE GERMAN PICNIC NEXT SUNDAY

Complete arrangements are being made by the local Arbeiter Verein for the entertainment of their Detroit brothers on Sunday next, and it is expected that a large crowd will join in the picnic on Relief park. Music will be furnished by Otto's Knight templar band, of this city, and the visitors will probably bring a band with them.

The Arbeiter Verein extended a cordial invitation to other local German societies to attend the picnic Sunday and assist in entertaining the visitors. Several of the other societies have accepted the invitation and will be out in force, but the invitation came too late for others to take action, but the individual members are requested to take the invitation as personal and come out.
