LYNDON LIGHTS.

Lyndon, August 4.––The ball game Saturday between Anderson and North Lake resulted in a score of 10 to 9 in favor of North Lake.

The Misses Walsh, of Mt. Pleasant, visited at the home of their uncle, Edward Doody, a few days the past week.

Miss Mary Heatley and little cousin, of Sandusky, O., came here today for a visit with relatives and friends.

The annual picnic of the Washtenaw County Grange will be held this week, Aug. 4, at the home of George T. English, near Chelsea. A number of the North Lake Grange expect to go.

The farmer's picnic at Joslyn lake Saturday was largely attended, and it was decided to hold the next picnic one year from the same date.

The annual picnic of St. Mary's parish, Pinckney, will be held at Jackson's grove, just south of town, Aug 12. All are invited to come and listen to a well prepared program and have a good dinner, which the ladies of St. Mary's know well how to prepare. There will be a ball game between Howell K. O. T. M. and Anderson.
