MR. HARE HAD TROUBLES HIMSELF
Charles B. Hare, whose appointment to a position in the Philippines was mentioned in the Argus last week, evidently had some trouble in getting started for his field of work, as the following from the Detroit News will show:
"A discontinuance has been filed in the case of Harriet L. Lynch against Charles B. Hare. Hare was arrested on a capias last Friday just as he was about to depart for the Philippines to accept a government position, charged by Mrs. Lynch with having secured $150 to invest in copper stocks and failing to render an account. Hare settled the case for $135, and yesterday he and his wife started on their trip, which had been rudely interrupted.
