Aug. 18. - Miss Ina Butler returned Saturday evening from St. Thomas' and Port Stanley, Canada, where she has been visiting friends for some weeks.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Smith and little daughter of Maple Grove, have been visiting relatives here for a short time.

 

Mr. Travert Young of Oakville, and Mrs. Hannah Eno, late of Ypsilanti, were married by Rev George Laubach at the Union church here Sunday evening.

 

Miss Jessie Pullen is the new clerk at the post office.

 

Grey Coe came home from Ypsilanti ill Monday.  He and his family are with his mother out at the Hiram Thompson farm.

 

The carnival has passed into history.  Everything here has resumed the even turn of its way.

 

Misses Mabel and Jesse Graham of Detroit, are visiting relatives here.

 

Mrs. Carrie Leland Garrison, formerly of Ann Arbor, now of Albany, N. Y., visited at Dr. Chapin's Monday.

 

Miss Emma Schneider of Clinton, has been spending the week with Miss Edna Whalen.

 

Mrs. Frank Guy and son Kenneth, are visiting their many friends here the past few days.
