The purchasers of the western horses, at the auction sale Wednesday afternoon, tried to lead their animals home. There was some high and lofty tumbling done. A pony would sit down on his hind legs a la circus style, and then when a street car came along, roll over on its back. The ponies did not seem to be vicious, only very timid and frightened.
