Wonder About The High Fence

The residents of W. Washington street are gossiping a good deal just now regarding the rebuilding of a board fence on that thoroughfare. The fence is around a building which adjoins Brillinger's saloon and was erected Thursday.

It will be remembered that a fence formerly surrounded this house and that there was a good deal of talk concerning the doings there by those who visited it. Later the fence was torn down and the neighborhood became as quiet and peaceful as any in the city, but now that the objectionable barrier is up again, there is a good deal of questioning as to what use the place is to be put.
