Instruction Will be Conducted by Prof Allen of U. of M. - Classes Once in Two Weeks

Plumbers, pipe-fitters, tinners and hardware men, are offered a course in the Y. M. C. A. night school. This is a new and perhaps the most distinctive class in the series. The work will be conducted by Prof. John R. Allen, of the mechanical engineering department of the University, and will be held Thursday evenings, once in two weeks, from 7:30 to 9 o'clock. Some of the subjects to be treated are, the theory of heat, heating by grates and stoves, hot air furnaces, steam and hot water, ventilation-the principles of it, and how the natural system and the fan system affects it. This class will continue through twelve evenings, and the cost of the course is $3. If the class should number 25 or more the fee will be reduced to $2.
