ALL ALONE WHEN SHE DIED

MRS. CLARA TODD DIED SUDDENLY AT OSBORNE'S MILLS

An Hour Elapsed Between the Calls of Two Neighbors and She Died In That Time

Mrs. Clara Todd was found by a neighbor dead in her home near Osborne's Mills in Scio township Sunday. She lived alone and had not been feeling well and some of the neighbors had been looking after her. One of the neighbors left her house, about half past four o'clock, and Mrs. Todd was then around the house. An hour later when another neighbor arrived she was dead.

Coroner Watts was called at 10 o'clock at night to investigate the death, as she had no medical attendance. After investigation the coroner concluded that it was not necessary to hold an inquest as there were no suspicious circumstances and she had undoubtedly died of heart disease. He issued the death certificate accordingly. She was 78 years of age.
