Albert Fiegel had an ugly fall Sunday which resulted in breaking one of the small bones in the wrist. When feeding his horse, after driving home at noon, Mr. Fiegel fell from the hay mow, slipping from the ladder on which he stood. In trying to save himself his arm bent under him and it is surprising that Mr. Fiegel escaped with so small a injury as a broken bone.

New books received at the Ladies library are as follows: "Everyman." a 15th century drama: "The Call of the Wild." by Jack London: "The Lightning Conductor," by C. A. Williamson; "The Little Sheperd of Kingdom Come," John Fox; "The Five Nations," by Rudyard Kipling: "Robert Browning," by G.K Chesteron. Library open Saturday from 10 to 12 a. m. and 2 to 5 p.m

Young Wetherbeen, employed by Wagner & Co., who thought he had been "touched" Saturday night for a bank book containing $80 in money and $46 in checks, finds it is but a horrid dream. The bank-book, which was probably sticking out of his trousers pocket was not "deftly extracted while he was passing through the crowded street," but was picked up by Mrs. Norman Camp in front of Allen's clothing store, where it had probably slipped out of said trousers pocket.
