At the recent election of the above society the followinif offlcers wcre cliosen: Preeldfint- Ootlob I.ulck. Vice President- N. J. Kyer. Treaiurer- F. H. Belser. Secretary- John R. Mlner. Execntlve Commlttea- John A. Gatos, M. J. O'Brieu, W. K. Howe, VVra. Blggs, IS. Ebeibacli. Tliis Association has n loss than ;hree yoars in which it h:is been doing business, loaned lo its members $18,000, ,hu8 ennbling twenty-eightof them eitlier :o build homes or to psy ofl' mortgages on jomes airead}' built. The net profits, which are shared by all members in proportion to their stock, now aoiount to $1.530.30. A payment Of $1.75 per week will in about six years pay for a home worth tivo hundred dollars. A payment of $3.öO will in the same time pay for a home worth one thousand dollars. This Association is doing in its quiet way a grood work for the comfort and iapoiness ot the wage earners, by aidiur hem to live in homes of their own, and oy fusniphin a means whereby young men can be tiiufrht to save. It is woi thy of the support of all who, wlsUing for a air rotura on the money invested, desire it the same time to help their neighbor.
