His funeral was attended tliis afternoon by Welch Post G. A. R., and the Germán Workingman's Assoeiation, of which orffanlz itlons he was a member. The funeral of the little tnn-year-old daughter of Mrs. Rev. Spring, was held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, in the Germán Lutheran church, Rev. Dr. Neuman offlclating. She had been living for some time with E. K. Freauff. The little grandchlld of Mrs. Dr. riartley dled Saturday morning in Milwaukee, at the home of its parents, Mr. and Mrs. II. J. Killlloa. The grip and afterward pneumonía was the cause of the death. Mrs. Hurtley altended the funeral and returned homo Monday. James Kitson, a (vel'-known resident of thls city, dled Monday afternoon from a paralytic stroke, with whlch he was takeD Saturday. He was bom n England seventy-ono ye.ira ago and came to tliis country nine yeara ago. He apparently enjoyed good health but about tliree montlis ago he was tlirown from hls dogcart and never fully recovered. The funeral services will be held at the residence, No. 55 Miller ave., Thursday at 3 p. m.
