William G. Dicterio has an cnviablc rcputation from his boybooU up to tlüs date. He was graduated from the Ann Arbor common. schools, but from his twelfth year his yacations were profitubly employed in the furniture business where he serred an apprenticeship. Soon his ability was discovered by his employer who made him foreman of the ttctory. The second of eigbt brothers - all capablc and respocted men - lic asslsted his parenta in the Btruygle tor livelihood until he was of ape. In Manchester where he established himself in business his ;ownstnen appreclating his straight for(vard clifiracter elected him as an aldermnn. Then when he tnovcd to Ann Ar[or lic was again called upon to take a place in the common council, thus showing that wherever he has been he has juickly won the esteem and confidcnce of tiis fellow-citizens. He is the head of a family, a tax-payer, business man of fidelity and ability, and In every way qualilied to fil! the position of county clerk. For every .one ivho knows him respecta his sterling ntegrity, his solid worth, his painstaking metbods. Win. G. Dieterle, if elected, will justify this confidetice oí the people of Wnshtenaw, so that men of all parties can consclentiously vote for him, feeling certain that the office has sought the man and not the man the office. Tfie voters have never had an opportunlty for electing a cleaner man to any office.
