A Republican State Convention to nomínate a iustiee of the Supreme Court in place of John Vi. Champlin, and two regenta of the Unlversity Ín placo of Charles .1. Wlllett and Arthur M. Clark, and for the transaction of other business, will be held at Assembly hall. in the city of Jacksou. on Tuesday, Feb. 24th, 1891, at 11 o'clock a. m. In accordain'f with a resolntion adopted at Grand Rapids May 19,1878, every eountv will be entitled to one delégate for each 500 of the total vote cast for governor at the last election (November, 1890) and one additioniil delégate for every fractlon amountintr to 300, but each organized county will be eucitled to at least one delégate. Under a resolntion of 1HTS no delégate will be ■entitled to a sent in the eouvention who doen iiot reside in the county he proposes to represent. In eomplinnee with a resolution adopted in Detroit June 23. U80, the secretary of each county convention is requested to forward to the sècretary of the state central committee (room 6, Butler block, Detroit) by the e&rliest mail) after the delegates arechosen.a certified Hst of siich delégate as are entitled to seats in the state convention from their respective connties. jA.Mf:s McMili.an, WilUam R.
