A Republican State Convention to nomínate n iustíee of the Suprenie Court in place of John W. Champliu, aud two regenta of the University Ín place of Charles J. Willett and Arthur M" Clark, and for the transaction of other business, will be held at Assembly hall, in the city of Jaekson, on Tuesday, Feb. 'üth. 1891, at 11 o'clock a. m. In accordauce with a resolution adopted at Grand Rapids May 10,1876. every coíiuty will be entitledto one delégate for each 500 of the total vote cast for governor at the last election (November, 1890) and one additional delégate for every fraotion amountlng to ;00, but each organized i'ounty will be entitled to at least one delegatf . Under a resolution of ISoS no delégate will be entitled to a Seat in the convent ion who does not reside in the connty he proposes to represent. In compliance wit'.i a resolution adopted in Detroit Juno :!. 1880, the secretar; of each county convention is requested to forward to the sêcretary of the state central committee (rootn ;.
