He waa a young man of sterling character, not demonstrative. bnt posftdve and substantial. Hewas genial and greatly attached to his frionds. Mr. Ramsay lad ehosen the prciV.-sioii of luw. and had pre pared tor it by a thorough Hterary course in the untversity from whlch h.' graduated witli honor. He then entered the law school, and was about to gradúate trom that wheo the dise; si', which ttnally ended his Ufe, lopod and compelled hiin to glve up study and his life work. He was o wann-hearted, genial young man wltl a host o! friends, and was the idol of his home.
