A Germán was given by the Bota Thetas at Granger's Hall, Friday night last. Every student at Palo Alto Unversity has been given a Bible by Mrs. Leland Stanford. Bowdoin University has been left $400,000 by the will of the late Mrs. Cathrine Gracelon, of California. Messrs. K. Cleland, and J. L. Burnett, law class of '92, were admitted to práctice by the supreme eourt at Lansing last week. Mr. and Mrs. James B. Angelí went to Washington, D. C, last Saturday to attend the meeting of the Alumni Association of that place. The university hall was fairiy well filled last Thursday evening to listen to the speeches made there in the dedicatory services of the new hospital. Aft-er these services it is stated that a private reception was glven at Newberry hall. The Oracle, '9-i's publication, is out, and is a worthy publication, larger and more complete than heretofore. The work is dedloated to the editors. ïlic Tniversity Banjo Club is progressing fiuely under the direc'tiofi of ienry Haug. Tlie club consista of twelve persons, and half of last year's nembers are back. The music th.-it s played this year is cntirely ïew and of a mucb higher class than las ever been attempted by the club ►efore. The first concert win be Riven in the L'Uth of this month in Ypsilanti, and the usual extended tour of the-glee and banjo clubs through the west will be made durinff tlie opening vacatíon.-
