The captain reports that he eneountered the g-ale at midtught on Thursday twenty miles ofE White Head. Á tremendous sea swept the vessel, carrying overboard two of the crew, John Kelly and Colin McKenna. McKe was swept back upon the deck hy another wave but Kelly was lost. The American sehooner Ella G. Thurston has arrived at Lockport, and reports the loss of four men on the banks. lhe men were in dorios and could not iind their vessel. The Glouee3ter sehooner S. A.
