Had I not sought for these ten cash they would have been lost iorever - sunk in the bottom of the Nameri-gawa. The lifty cash Whlch I expended on torches will reniain In the hands of the tradesman. Whether he has thern or I is no matter; but not a single one of the sixty has been lost, and that is a clear gain to the country."
