Thinking he liad got out of the Hon's den. lic exclainied : "Bat where am I at ? ' His tonigue became dumb witli fiiglit and he could not give the alarm to hts father, to come out of the house, l'inally he went to the houee, told his fat lier about his adventure, but he lioolxed at hun and did not believe it. A short time after, Daniel and his father were husking corn by ïnooniinht in the field, when the identical Mrs. Bruin and her cub came along looking for their supper, then the father was eonvinced and thought his boy was a sefond little George Washington.
