Wagner, Wood, Manly, Prettyman - 4. Absent- Aid. Scbairer, Herz, Martin, Snow, O'Mary, Ferguson, Taylor, Kitson. Pres. Watts- 9. No quorum present. On motion of Aid. Manly the Council was adjcmrned. Quorum present. Absent- Aid. Taylor, Pres. Watts, -2. Aid. Martin was chosen President pro-tem. The following cali for this meeting was read by the Clerk: Mayor' 8 office, ) October21, 1693 ! I hereby cali a special meetine of the Common Council to be held Monday eve.. October 23d, "93, at 7:30 p. ni., to consider the report of the bond committee and all mattere that would have come bef ore the Council at its regular meeting, October 16, 1893. 1!. M. Thompson, Mayor. The cliair ruled that the only business that could be transacted was to hear report of Bond Committee. Aid Prettyman moved an appeal f rom the decisión of the chair. The chair was sustained by the following yea and nay vote: Yeas- ;Vlds. Herz, Martin, Snow, Wood, O'Mara, Ferguson, Manly - 7. Nays- Aid. Schairer, Wagner, Prettyman- 8. A recessof tive minutes was taken. Af ter the expiration of five minutes the Council ie-asseinbled, and Chairman Prettyman of the bond committee reported tliat the bond committe have examined the following bonds of liquor dealers; and would recommend their acceptance with the snreties named: PRINCIPAL. SÜHKTIKS Martín I'. Vogel, (;„illiv, Brahm. Frederlok Waltcr and Frederick Staeb. Gottlob Knapp, Adolpli Kemper. Aid. O'Mara moved that tlie bonds be accepted, adoptedand approved. Adopted as follows: Yeas - Aid. Schairer, Wagner, Tlcrz, Martin, Bnow, Wood, O'Mara, Fergusoii, Manly, Prettyman, Kitson - 11. Naya - None. Aid.
