At a recent meethig oí The Wrinkle board, a resolutioo was introduced ;md carried tliat no more "rank" matter abould le allowed to appear Ín that publicatioii. AVhicli will not be a new wrinkle. At the Unity C3ub on Monday evenIng next, Mrs. Blsie Jones Cooley, of oily, will lecture upoii "Six Months of Travel in Italy." This iecture proimises to be very entertainjng and we hope that all oí our patrons will be present. Hou. John J. Ingalls will speak at University Hall, Friday evening, Mar. 9tli. All that is necessary to do ís to make an announeement to fill the hall. Mr. Ingalls is a man wbo has justly won his way to the front, and all the populista oí Kansas can not not keep Irán down. The TVrinkle board held an election last Saturday a. m., and the lóllowing officials were chosen : I 'residí nl- Prof J. H. Drake. Sec'y- B. P. AVollman. Treas.- H. N. Smith. Dfoectars- W. E. Bolles, J. I. Lorie, H. Ij. Smith, II. E. Kellogg and W. C. Campau. The iirefiminary oratorical conlcsl held lm the law lecture room last Brld.-iy evening, was an exeeedingly excellent display of oi-atory and argument. There Avere eight speaker, four upo.n eaeh side of the Hawaiian (iii'stion, and the manner in which the subject was handled by the conteütants prOTed that thoy had not jjeen idle, but had given the subject jiiuch thought and cons.iderable researcto as well. The judges ed of Rev. J. M. (Joint on, Messrs. T. A. Bogle., L. J. Liesemer, A. .1. Sawyer and Geo. H.
