The Program Committee of the W. C. T. U. of Michigan congratúlate themselves upón having secured John G. Woolley to lecture at the State Convention at Ann Axbor, May 25th. The following testimoniáis from prominent people will be of interest. Francis E. Willard : "A more complete speaker and writer öur family can not count in its great and gifted menibership." J. W. Bashford, D. D. President Ohio Weslyan TJniversity: "John G. Woolley combines nianv of the best elementa of Wendell Phillips and John B. Goughv His simplicity of style and his admirable command of English reminds me of Phillips, while his speech at timps scintilatos with the wit or glows with the pathos L Gough; at the same time Woolley's speeches ave marked by a breadtli of statesmanship and a depth of Christian philosophy which neither of those great orators equallcd. Mr. Woolley is the most brilliant and helpful temperance advocate now on the American platform to-day."
